Join Erik Mace and Eric William Carroll as they take on re-sequencing two beloved photobooks, Christian Patterson’s Redheaded Peckerwood and Jason Fulford & Tamara Shopsin's This Equals That. As a group, we’ll discuss why breaking boundaries can be so rewarding in creating edits and sequencing our work. At times, when our ideas feel the most precious, the most complete, it can be liberating to burst open those ideas and see how the work settles.
We’re encouraging everyone to join the conversation by downloading a set of images from either book (using the links below) and then experimenting with a sequences that resonate with you. Bring those to the session as the group talks through some of the different choices participants made and why.
