Walk Through it Lightly - Nicole Marie
Time is moving newly and strangely,
with a sharper edge to it all
Flat and despondent.
Labored by the restlessness
of overwhelming uncertainties.
Layers of panic building,
and tightening of the space necessary to peel it back.
Constant proximity unkindly smashes up against
quite unfathomable separations and severance
Jolts of panic as loved ones falter and fall,
far from us.
Out of reach,
touch.
Grieving and welcoming
the things slipping
and sprouting
between the cracks.
