Still Life with Daniele Longo
Thursday, January 14th at 2 pm ET - Meets for 4-weeks - Group is Full
Still-Life photography acts as a door to an introspective journey where objectivity becomes subjective. Removing living beings from the frame creates an emptiness which frees the photographers to manifest their perceptions of what is important to them. A profound exploration takes place; the photographer harnesses the silent energy of inanimate objects bringing them to life through the lens of symbolism.
Daniele Longo started his photography career in Milan, Italy right in the hub of contemporary European fashion and design. His passion for still life and jewelry photography suited his meticulous style of work and led him to shoot for internationally acclaimed companies all over the world.
Daniel moved to London where for seven years he successfully ran his own photography studio working as a still life and architecture photographer. His passion and experience led him to become a studio manager and consultant.
After moving to New Zealand, Daniele continued working as photographer alongside becoming Head of Faculty at one of the most prestigious photography colleges. Daniele is now running a mentorship program for young photographers as well as conducting workshops with several photographic institutions.
